The best way to deal with persistent back pain is hands on massage – the second best is to use a massage tool, member Will Moore explained during his talk this week at our recent breakfast club meeting.

Will is the Company Director and Senior Therapist at Moore Performance. Not only can he help those suffering by givinghands on massage, but he also manufactures massage tools such as foam rollers and bands. He told the club that many leave back pain for months because they simply do not know what to do about it or who to see. He described eight easy ways to avoid back pain and stiffness – without taking painkillers or having to see a GP.

A handy bit of advice included setting a reminder on mobile phones to ensure when sitting and working that it is important to get moving at intervals throughout the day.
