Paul used his 15 minutes last week to give us an insight into how he became a valuer/lister at Thomas Morris.

Paul is originally from the midlands and started his working life running a haulage business with his partner. They moved the business to Cambridgeshire but decided to return to retail.

A total career change was needed and Paul became a senior Manager for Tesco working in several stores and was later put in charge of a local superstore as F&F Manager/Duty Manager.

Managing a department and a staff of 400+ was hard work and although very capable, Paul needed to reset his work life balance.

He put his CV on a recruitment website and was contacted by a local estate agency group who wanted to meet him. Paul’s customer service skills and natural charm got him in and the rest is history!

He joined Thomas Morris last year as valuer and hasn’t looked back. “It’s great to work for a company which treats their customers with respect and does things properly” he told us.

It’s good to hear an estate agent say it as it is and Paul explained many of Thomas Morris’s Unique Selling Points, it is quite clear that Paul Loves his job!
